Korean-style snow ice with Taiwanese toppings (lychee, grass jelly, almond jelly, taro, mochi, etc.) The snow ice is densely packed and eats like an ice cream. $5.99 small cup, $7.99 medium cup. Highly recommended!

This place is a classic 626 spot! If you are in a smaller group and want a cold sweet treat this is a place because they offer small, medium, & large portions! They have a wide variety of snow flavors to choose from but my personal favorite is taro, Thai tea, & matcha. The service is pretty quick with available seating inside. Parking lot is a little small but plenty of street options available!

I've enjoyed coming to Salju throughout the years. I haven't visited since maybe half a year ago, but I'm happy to say the taste is still great! We stopped by with some friends yesterday, 5/31/2024 after dinner after 8 PM. My husband and I ordered the following: BYO - Medium Mango Snow, Mango, Jack Fruit, Lychee Jelly, Passionfruit Syrup $7.80 (Price as of May 2024) - We enjoyed our snow! The ice had a nice smooth texture and a wonderful mango flavor. The passionfruit was yummy and added an extra slightly tart, sweetness. I thought the fruit toppings were a little skimpy but my husband thought they were enough lol. The mango and jackfruit pieces were both sweet, not sour. I also liked having the lychee jellies since they added a different gummier texture to the ice. Overall, the medium size was sufficient for both of us and we enjoyed it! :) Tip: You can now order via the self-ordering kiosk which I found to be so helpful since you can scroll through your choices. Seating: It gets pretty busy in the store since it's pretty small so it can be hard to find seats. We have had to combine some tables for our bigger parties and try to scavenge for seats. When we left, we had like two different parties try to snag our spots lol. Not sure, who won lol. If you come at an off time, you won't have trouble but yeah... just keep that in mind! Parking: The shop is located in a small lot so it can get tricky getting a spot. Fortunately, there was a single spot when my husband and I came. Other times, we have had to find street parking, which is kind of limited too. Quality snow places are a little harder to find nowadays and now that the weather is getting hotter, I'll definitely be coming back! :)

Cute little place to stop by when in need of late night dessert in the 626. They have a nice variety of flavors and you are able to chose up to two toppings. There is limited seating and it can get busy, but service is quick and it's nice and clean inside. I will warn you that the parking lot is small so it may be tricky to find a spot. The strawberry was delicious and fluffy! The mochi wasn't a favorite of mine, however.

Love love love it Better than Hawaiian shaved ice Fruit flavored shaved ice with many toppings to choose

This place is always crowded. The seatings are not really spacious when it picks up crowd and customers pulled chairs here and there, leaving one or two tables with no chairs at all. What matters at the end is their shaved ice. I had the Matcha shaved ice and let me tell you, taste is soooo good, very strong of matcha flavor! Portion is quite generous so we all know now why this place always been packed!

This is my go to shaved ice place. Their Matcha shaved ice is the BEST flavor there. Their taro flavor is also pretty flavorful. Their crepes are thin but are filled with Nutella and fruits! Service is quick but it's very hard to find a seat during peak hours!

Shaved snow has always brought a sense of nostalgia since a few aforementioned shops in the area have closed or moved onto other ventures. I haven't visited Salju in years so it felt like catching up with an old friend again. Ordering was pretty easy since they have an extensive list of flavors and how many toppings you can put on them. Me and my bf ordered our own shaved snow cups. When we arrived it was busy but it dwindled so we were able to get our own table after ordering. Service was good and the ordering process was pretty straightforward. I got the matcha shaved snow with red bean and mochi for myself and it was great! It was light and airy; the matcha flavor was pretty on point. The small was enough for me and it didn't feel as heavy as eating ice cream. If you remembered Fluff Ice, Salju is the exact same thing except with more dessert options.
